Driftwood Coffee opened its doors on October 3, 2012, at the corner of Vermont Street and 45th Avenue in Southwest Portland. For over fourteen years, this cozy neighborhood coffee shop has been a morning anchor for the Vermont Hills community — a place where regulars are greeted by name and every drink is made with care.

We partner with one of Portland's best local coffee roasters to source our beans, and every espresso shot is pulled to order. Our baristas take pride in crafting drinks that regulars return for — from our signature half-sweet triple mocha to perfectly balanced pour-overs. And when you stay, your drink comes in a big ceramic mug the way coffee was meant to be enjoyed.

The shop itself is designed for lingering: comfortable seating, free WiFi, and just enough house-baked pastries to satisfy whether you skipped breakfast or need an afternoon pick-me-up. We're open daily, closing at 2 PM — because great coffee is a morning ritual, and the afternoons are for dreaming up tomorrow's specials.
